If you are already complete...

If you are already convinced of not wanting to bring a little boy to the world (or if you already have the ones you want), take advantage of November 12 to 16 because the IMSS launched a vasectomy campaign without a scalpel.

In order to raise awareness about family planning, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) launched this proposal that will surely benefit not only many men, but many Mexican families who have defined their course.

This campaign is carried out within the framework of World Vasectomy Day, which is celebrated every November 17, an irreversible contraceptive method whereby many Mexicans have opted.

Nationally, the goal is to practice 2,460 vasectomies without scalpel throughout that week.

What is vasectomy without scalpel?

It implies a small operation (without a scalpel, of course), with local anesthesia, making a puncture in the skin of the scrotal bag above where the testicles are located, through which the deferens ducts are located, linked and cutwhere sperm pass.

Vasectomy without scalpel only prevents sperm passage, which continue to occur, but are absorbed by the body, so their effectiveness is greater than 99 percent.

Before going to the health center

If you want to do the operation, you must take a bath before going to the health clinic, light breakfast, wear tight underwear, wear some juice to take a subsequent medication to surgery.

After the operation, doctors cite patients a week later for a review.

After the operation...

After surgery there are 25 ejaculations still with sperm, so the use of condoms or prenatal care by the couple is recommended.

After three months they have a laboratory study to know the expected result of Azoospermia, that is, the absence of sperm.
