I take care of the bad ones

With the passing of time and the different life experiences that I have had, I have come to the conclusion that men and women, not in their totality, if they give them some power, bring out their miseries. It's unfortunate, because when they were people without any preponderance, they were affable, supportive and considerate.

But, there is never a lack of but, when they hold positions of power, they juggle as much as possible so as not to lose the benefits they obtain from it, regardless of the consequences they cause. When they cling tooth and nail to continue enjoying their supremacy, lies, deceit, fallacy and hoaxes are part of their daily messages, to continue showing their greed and meanness.

They use anything, they don't mind keeping the forms of decorum, much less morality and ethics, which have banished it from their personal actions. They are capable of the most ignoble actions, as long as they continue to lie and enjoy their position. But, second but, when they use children to continue justifying their outrages, there they demonstrate that they are vile and infamous beings, when infants are used as instruments to alienate and manipulate, so that only one way of thinking prevails.

During the years of the Bolivarian revolution we have seen children used in military parades and political campaigns, or in extreme cases, performing representations of heroes of the revolution, dressing up as Hugo Chávez or another caudillo that highlights the benefits of the process revolutionary.

Everything described above comes precisely because of the following. Surfing the Internet a few days ago, I came across a cartoon, which at first seemed like a mockery, but as I investigated, my astonishment turned into anger, when I was able to see a cartoon of Nicolás Maduro, who goes by the name "Super Mustache". I start from the principle that children are untouchable, that they should be kept away from any type of indoctrination, because they have the right to live their childhood, in which only learning, interaction with family, playing with friends and live their fantasy world, since they will have time to be adults and face the different vicissitudes of life when they are older.

But going back to Super Mustache, in which his recurring message is the following: "I'll take care of the bad guys", in addition to having an iron hand, of course, on his left arm naturally, it's not directed at the adult audience, on the contrary, in its presentation and in the structure of its characters, the children's audience is the target of its message. And it is worth asserting that his purpose is to indoctrinate children, who are easy prey to tendentious and false messages.

When the cartoon Super Mustache develops its plot, it emphasizes at all times that what is happening in Venezuela is not Nicolás's fault for his lousy administration, but rather seeks a way to exonerate himself for the different deficiencies that the Venezuelan people suffer, blaming foreign interference for all the evils that plague us. There enters Super Mustache and his iron hand, as an instrument of propaganda, broadcast through the channel of all Venezuelans, Venezolana de Televisión, in addition, to the rhythm of salsa, it is exalted that it is "indestructible".

I'll take care of the bad guys

The musical background, I mean the soundtrack, which in this case is salsa, this rhythm has always been identified with the popular classes, naturally the bulk of the population in Venezuela is there and it is their main media objective .

His resemblance to Superman, because he wears his underwear outside, fighting Yankee imperialism, in which the villains of the story turn out to be opposition leaders, I mean Julio Borges and Henry Ramos Allup, grotesquely caricatured, who receive orders from the White House, in order to generate anxiety that shakes the country. It is a resource that falls within the characteristics of populism and the cult of personality, in which messianism raises the need for a savior.

The function of the cartoon is to permeate the imaginary of the people, specifically in children and adolescents, that is fixed in their memory, as a unique alternative of truth on specific issues, in short, to manipulate that sector of the society, who are more vulnerable to misleading messages, in addition, when they copy the figure of Superman, a cartoon known for its different presentations, which is part of the popular culture of the 20th and 21st centuries, playing with the same colors but inverted in the suit in red that identifies the Chavista ruling party and a blue cape (Superman has a blue suit and a red cape, but in the last film, he has the inside inside his pants). He is an instrument to be able to use fraud and present himself as the new superhero who, with his unique abilities, can solve the country's problems.

We must not forget his iron hand, which is the left hand to be more specific, which is a symbol of his strength, not only physical but ideological, to fight the enemies of the homeland, in which the North American empire He is in first place, followed by his lackeys, represented by all the Venezuelan politicians who disagree with the regime.

The use of comics as a means of manipulation has been a repeated resource used by regimes that seek to indoctrinate the population. Investigations carried out by experts in the field indicate that cartoons can cause sadness, joy, suspense, action or conditioned attitudes towards a certain situation. For example, many of my generation cried when Heidi's grandfather died or when Marco found his mother in Argentina.

It should be noted that comics in their different presentations, that is, whether in magazines or in their animated version for movies or television, are very present in today's society. Movies from Disney, DreamWorks, Warner and other audiovisual production companies have animation departments to their credit, because they are aware that it continues to be an attractive market, which reaches not only children but also adult audiences.

We must remember that comics are considered the ninth art, because it is a way of presenting facts in a light, entertaining and pleasant way, more so in a society like today, in which we are immersed in a maelstrom that engulfs us time and we have the feeling that we lack minutes to carry out all the activities, therefore, the speed in the information flow, accompanied in turn, by seductive images and texts, help to instantly digest all the information, because the delay, is a sin that the knowledge society does not allow.

Here again the drawings come in, be they animated or magazine comics, in which with the use of suggestive colors, enveloping music and a convincing text, it manages to permeate those sectors in which the message is directed. Because after all, the purpose of Super Mustache is to influence the receivers when receiving said information, under a poor interpretation, to accept it without thinking about whether it is true or false, identifying with it and thus achieving its objective, which is to convert their lie into a truth

Beyond the hilarity that this situation can cause, we must also worry, due to the daring and unscrupulous nature of the Nicolás regime, in continuing with this brainwashing, which it wants to carry out on the most vulnerable sectors of society, such as children and adolescents.

It should not be underestimated that cartoons, by presenting a coherent thread between actions and consequences, can be interpreted as the only way to deal with the supposed saboteurs of the revolution, which is through acts of coercion such as carried out by the Super Mustache, because what is dialogue, tolerance and respect, are not part of the plot and the only way for the ideals of socialism to prevail is to confront them through the violence that represents his hand of iron, as an execution weapon.

What is worrying is that children and adolescents watching this cartoon, without adult supervision, may lead to a misinterpretation of reality, seeking an explanation for their emotions and sensations at the time of watching Super Nicolás, increasing their aggressiveness towards those they think are the cause of the problems that affect their environment.

I hope that with time, some kind of kryptonite can be found that can cope with such stupidity, which the effects, if this false way of presenting the facts continues to be transmitted, in a few years the new generations will only harbor resentment and hatred towards those who think differently from the revolutionary precepts. If we continue like this, we will soon see statues of Nicolás throughout the country and the establishment of the Maduro I dynasty.
