With an investment of more than $85,000, the Jockey underwear brand debuted in the Puerto Rican market with the opening of an establishment in The Mall of San Juan by the Puerto Rican company WDF Group.

The new thousand-square-foot store is located on the first level of the shopping center -former GEOX- and will generate 5 jobs. The concept is "boutique" and has a wide range of underwear, stockings and accessories for men, women and children.

“We are extremely excited to be able to bring this concept to Puerto Rico and to be able to offer the local market a variety of high-quality alternatives at affordable prices. The brand is an icon in the underwear market. It has a history of more than 200 years and is present in over 80 countries around the world”, explained Wendell Falmar, shareholder partner of WDF Group, LLC.

Falmar -who also owns the Think Big men's stores- indicated that the products they will be selling in the store will be the top of the brand's line and that they have a variety of sizes. Among the pieces, consumers can find boxers, bikinis, traditional or sports briefs for men, as well as bralettes, hipsters, seamless or hi-cuts for women.

“It is the first time that Jockey arrives in Puerto Rico. We envision expanding and opening two or three additional sales outlets in the south, north and west. Our culture is very familiar and this brand is for the whole family. In addition, it is distinguished by its light and high-quality cotton pieces, which are the most breathable and suitable for our climate,” said the businessman.

The owner of the exclusive rights to develop the brand in Puerto Rico also mentioned that they will expand their product offering for the Christmas season with a new collection of sports and yoga clothing for women, as well as underwear and lingerie options for women. plus size ladies. They will also have more alternatives for children for the next return to school.

The store will operate during the regular hours of The Mall of San Juan: Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
