The 5 at 5: a week to avoid failure

The unexpected success of the last concentration of support for the victims of terrorism called by Alcaraz makes it very difficult to repeat it. Almost everything conspires to demotivate or demobilize those who against all odds, without the support of any political party and against the hostile indifference or indifferent hostility of the media, stood by tens of thousands in the Plaza de Colón. We were the only ones who were with them on radio and television. All the rest, including that vast majority that shows off its hatred of Christianity, went to cover – or cover up – the Pope's visit to Santiago de Compostela. It was an honor for us. And it is to be hoped and thankful that this honor is not repeated. However, the worst thing that could happen to the victims of terrorism is that their calls fall into everyday life, in a blank normality, in a vulgarity with little emotion, without stridency, without opposition, with hardly any emotion.

But we're only slightly better off than we were a couple of months ago. In reality, the scam of the new negotiation with the ETA is closer than ever, even though the burricie of the ETA members who dominate the pistols has prevailed over the politicking with the PSOE, but the municipal elections are there and not even the ETA is going to not give up public funds from city councils, nor is the PSE-PSOE going to give up giving them to them in exchange for some advertising trinkets. Even free. It is our obligation, as always, to take to the streets the national indignation, the opposition of the people, of ordinary people against this infamous politicking. You have to be this 5 at 5 with Alcaraz and the victims, against ETA and the Government.

5 at 5: one week to avoid failure

It is to be expected that the great absentees from the great concentration of Colón, the PP, UPyD, Ciudadanos and the parties and associations that were always with the victims, for convenience or sincerely, will be so again. But that is not going to translate into logistical support like the one provided by the PP in the times of Acebes. It is not necessary to think that the presence of some leaders of any of these parties supposes a mobilization of their affiliates. They will be, in case the photo, but they will not help. Victims and those who support them must help themselves. Success will fade. Failure will be blamed on the victims for being "unwelcome" or on the identifiable media for inciting the victims to be so unwelcome. The usual but even worse.

Faced with this panorama we can only meet, the more the better, in honor of the dead and in defense of the Spanish nation, its dignity, its freedom.

On February 5, on Calle Serrano in Madrid, at 5 in the afternoon. When so much fails, we cannot fail.
