An NBA player denounces that he has to live with racism "almost daily"

The Washington Wizards player, Rui Hachimura, is making sure to let everyone know that racism towards Asian people is real. With 23 years and born in the prefecture of Toyama in Japan, Rui hit social networks when he approached the racist comments that had been issued against his younger brother Aren Hachimura.

Aren's own, who plays basketball at the University of Tokai in Japan, published a message on Twitter reproducing some of the hate messages he had received. They appear in Japanese, but Aren explained that some said "that he was born by mistake" and in another that "should die".

"There are people who maintain that there is no racism in Japan, but there are those who make comments of this type.I don't think it's a problem that can be exposed, but I would like them to be interested in the issue of racial discrimination once again, "wrote the Wizards player.

In an attempt to comfort his little brother, Rui told Aren that he receives messages of that guy almost daily and has had to learn to live with episodes of racism on many occasions.

The hashimura brothers are from Japanese descent and Beninesa half.According to his messages on the networks, Rui receives hate in the United States for "not being an American", while Aren suffers him in Japan for "not being Japanese".

The world is continuous fight against racist behaviors. However, despite some small victories, it seems that it has retreated in the battle against discrimination against Asians, at least according to racial attacks to which they have been subjected.

Rui hashimura has been a bit more vocal these days when denouncing racism, both in his country of origin and in his country of residence, but surely he cannot do it alone.
