The continued use of adjusted clothing can have an impact on health, as the marks that appear on the skin are indications that something in the use of clothing is not correct, according to the Secretary General of the Professional College of physiotherapists of the Community of Madrid, José Santos, and has collected Infohealth.

"it's all about not committing excesses and from time to time interspersing and giving rest to the body, leaving the body at home to oxygene," Santos points out. These excesses are often evident on the marks that the clothes leave, "you have to look for a middle ground, the main thing is to be comfortable and have freedom of movement," he says.

Santos has explained that the marks "that leave socks or pants when we undress" mean that he is wearing too tight clothes, and that can have consequences for his health. This expert has exposed several of the most frequent problems caused by wearing this type of dress:

1. It makes circulation difficult because it makes venous return difficult and the lymphatic system is in compression, causing fluid retention and swelling of legs. It is also important to bear in mind that the skin needs oxygen and removes the waste substances, something that is more difficult if you continually dress in this type of clothing, and which causes the accumulation of toxins, and therefore the appearance of cellulite.

2. Favors gastroesophageal reflux: a tight trousers can affect the functioning of the lower esophageal sphincter, and allow the acid content to pass to the esophagus and mouth, resulting in burning.

3. It affects the respiratory system: abdominal breathing and the diaphragm muscle that helps the lungs expel carbon dioxide cannot be performed well with this type of clothing. This can cause cells not to oxygenate well and have premature aging.

4. Gynaecological and urological disorders: lack of perspiration can cause moisture and the appearance of fungi and candidiasis, as well as hemorrhoids. In men, it can affect the amount and quality of sperm, and even produce testicular pain.

5. Back problems: tight garments can compress the nerves and thus cause swelling and pain, especially when dressed in shirts or ties, which "can decrease blood circulation to the head, causing headaches, cervical pain, and Trapeze".

In the case of women's underwear, it should be borne in mind that bras can cause shoulder problems when suspenders have to bear a lot of weight, and this can be extended to the cervical, arm or costal level.

6. Restriction on freedom: when wearing tight clothes, an excessive effort is made to move the joints, which overloads the body.
