Video captures the exact moment of the “express” kidnapping of a 14-year-old teenager in Providencia

On January 18, a 14-year-old teenager was kidnapped on an "express" basis in the Inés de Suárez Metro sector, in the Providencia commune, Metropolitan region.

The minor was held by criminals in broad daylight for almost an hour.

According to the victim's parents in a T13 report, a man "followed him, looked at him. He hurried up the south sidewalk, entered a store to try to mislead him, but he followed him anyway."

Luis, the teenager's father, reported that "the minor was there for a moment and left quickly. And the guys also went into the pizzeria for a moment and left with him (...) He sped up the march and more or less passed the park Inés de Suárez approached him".

A witness to the situation said the young man was uncomfortable as a taller man had his arms around his shoulders. "He had it attached, the child did not hug him. I walked closer and took a good look at the guy. He had an evil look. That's where the alarm went off," he explained.

According to his account, seconds later a white vehicle without a license plate arrived, where they took the teenager. The father recounted that "they searched his backpack, they took his clothes, his cell phone, his soccer shoes and immediately afterwards he sent me a WhatsApp telling me that he needed 100,000 pesos," which according to them were to pay for a cell phone that had been broken by a friend.
