He beats up his father and smashes his facial bones in a dispute over an inheritance in Fuengirola

Lying in the street with a bloody head. This is how the police found a septuagenarian man in Fuengirola (Málaga) to whom his 44-year-old son would have given a beating in an argument over the inheritance of a flat, according to the National Police. The old man had injuries to his face and skull, and had to be taken to the hospital for reconstruction of various facial bones.

The events took place on December 7th, at midnight. A call to CIMACC Room 091 notified the agents of a fight between two men and a uniformed patrol moved to Juan Breva street. It was there that the police found the septuagenarian man bleeding and lying on the ground, for which they called an ambulance for him to be assisted.

In order to clarify what happened, the officers met with several witnesses who pointed out that the victim's son would have been at the victim's home in a very aggressive attitude. Apparently, the reason for the dispute would be the inheritance of a flat.

According to the police reconstruction of the events, the old man received several blows against the ground from his son, who only stopped his attitude when a relative of the victim's couple managed to convince him to leave the place. His father ended up with injuries to his cheekbones, jaw and skull, having to be transferred to a hospital in the province for the reconstruction of various bones.

During the course of the police action, the alleged attacker appeared again at the scene, this time asserting to the agents that he was the real victim. Finally, the man was arrested as allegedly responsible for a crime of injuries and made available to the judicial authority.
